Owner / Curl Specialist

My name is Julia Calo and I am the owner of this salon and also a Curl Specialist. I went to school at Northern Michigan University where I studied cosmetology. I started this salon because I saw a need for a safe space for natural hair in the Milwaukee community. At Curly Hair Extraordinaire I strive to build a platform where anyone with curly/highly textured hair can receive a magical experience that will simplify hair care routines, have your curls properly catered to, and receive the education on what would best enhance your curly hair journey. Maintaining this close knit community is my beauty dream, where everyone can explore their confidence and feel safe being themselves.

Curl Specialist

My name is Bella Perez and I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I went to the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in Downtown Milwaukee. At Curly Hair Extraordinaire, I will be providing curly cuts and color for all curls and textures. I have been working in this field for 1 year.  My beauty goal is to make anyone feel beautiful wearing their natural curl pattern.

Curl Specialist

My name is Lexi and I am a licensed cosmetologist. I went to school at Vici Beauty school located in Greenfield where I learned color, styling techniques, and haircuts. At Curly Hair Extraordinaire, I will be providing curly cuts, color, deep conditioning, styling and education tailored to each client’s curls. I have been working in this field for 6 months. My beauty dream is to teach women and men how to take care and love their natural curls.

Esthetician

My name is Sarah Calo and I am a licensed Esthetician. I went to school at the Aveda Institute of Minneapolis where I studied Esthiology. At Curly Hair Extraordinaire, I will be providing eyelash extensions & waxing. I have been working in this field since 2016. My passion is helping women feel confident in themselves.
